This Wednesday, Charlie-Mae and Tom had the fantastic opportunity to attend the Haberdashers’ Adams Career Fair, where they engaged with students eager to explore career paths in data analytics and technology. It was an inspiring day filled with insightful conversations about the exciting opportunities within this ever-evolving industry.

Power BI, Microsoft Fabric & AI

During the fair, Charlie and Tom introduced students to the world of data analytics, focusing on key technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, andArtificial Intelligence (AI). These tools are at the forefront of modern analytics, helping businesses make smarter decisions by transforming raw data into meaningful insights.

  • Microsoft Fabric – A new and integrated data platform designed to unify analytics and make data more accessible across organisations.

Apprenticeships

One of the key topics we discussed was apprenticeships and how they can provide a fantastic route into the technology field. Many students were keen to learn about how they could gain hands-on experience while developing essential skills in analytics, programming, and AI. Or even the other side of technology such as marketing, HR, security and much more!

Apprenticeships offer a unique blend of education and practical work experience, allowing individuals to earn while they learn and build a strong foundation for a successful career in tech.
