The Microsoft Solutions Partner designation is awarded to partners who demonstrate consistent, verified capability across Microsoft's technology ecosystem. To earn it, partners must accumulate performance points across three categories: net new customer growth, deployments, and certified technical staff. It sits within Microsoft's broader Partner Network and is reviewed annually, meaning it reflects current, not historical, capability.

The Microsoft MVP award is one of the most prestigious recognitions Microsoft gives to individuals in the tech community. It is awarded annually to people who demonstrate exceptional technical expertise and actively share their knowledge through speaking, writing, open source contributions, and community leadership. MVPs are not Microsoft employees. They are independent practitioners recognised for the real impact they have on the wider Microsoft ecosystem.

ISO 27001

We are ISO 27001 certified, the international standard for information security management. This confirms our approach to protecting information is systematic, risk-based, and continually improved, giving you strong assurance whether you operate in a regulated environment, handle sensitive data, or have high security expectations.

ISO 27001 is the globally recognised standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It is published by the International Organization for Standardization and sets out a framework for identifying, managing, and reducing information security risks. Certification is awarded by an independent accredited body following a formal audit and must be maintained through annual surveillance audits and a full recertification every three years. It covers everything from physical security and access controls to incident response and supplier management.

ISO 27001 certification means your data is handled by an organisation with a formally audited, structured approach to information security. For organisations in regulated industries, working with financial data, or handling sensitive customer information, this matters. It means we have documented controls in place, staff are trained in security responsibilities, and any risks to your data are actively identified and managed. Many enterprise procurement processes and public sector frameworks require ISO 27001 as a baseline — and we meet it.

Cyber Essentials

Purple Frog Data holds Cyber Essentials certification, delivered by IASME and backed by the UK Government and NCSC. It demonstrates we have essential technical controls in place to protect against common cyber threats, giving you reassurance that baseline security measures are embedded across our organisation and processes.

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed certification scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against the most common cyber attacks. Delivered by IASME on behalf of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), it verifies that five key technical controls are in place: secure configuration, boundary firewalls and internet gateways, access control, malware protection, and patch management. Certification requires an independently assessed self-assessment questionnaire and is renewed annually.

Cyber Essentials gives you confidence that Purple Frog Data has verified, baseline cyber security controls in place that are independently assessed and renewed each year. This is particularly important when sharing data, granting system access, or working in sectors with supply chain security requirements. For public sector, financial services, or enterprise clients, Cyber Essentials is often a procurement prerequisite. For everyone else, it is a straightforward signal that we take cyber security seriously and have the controls to back it up.

We are proud to hold our CompTIA Accredit UK certification in ICT consultancy, first achieved in 2009. CompTIA is the sign of trust for the IT industry, a quality standard and mark of excellence that shows purchasers of IT they can trust any supplier who holds the standard to deliver first-class solutions. Accredit UK certified businesses have demonstrated well-trained and managed people, a track record of first-class performance, and excellent internal processes.

CompTIA Trustmark+ (formerly Accredit UK) is an independently assessed quality standard for IT companies, backed by CompTIA, the world's leading IT industry association. To achieve certification, companies must demonstrate excellence across three core areas: their people (qualifications, training, and management), their processes (internal operations, project management, and governance), and their performance (track record, customer satisfaction, and delivery quality). It is one of the longest-standing quality marks in the UK IT sector, and Purple Frog Data has held it since 2009.

The Good Business Charter is a straightforward accreditation for UK organisations that want to demonstrate responsible business practices. It covers ten components: real living wage, fairer hours and contracts, employee wellbeing, employee representation, diversity and inclusion, environmental responsibility, pay fairness, ethical sourcing, prompt payment of suppliers, and a commitment to zero-tolerance on modern slavery. Organisations self-assess and commit to all ten components, and the Charter is independently administered. Purple Frog Data was among the first data analytics consultancies to sign up.
