The anticipation and excitement of attending an awards evening cannot be overstated, it is a mixture of excitement and nerves!
It is a time to celebrate the hard work and achievements of individuals and organisations, as well as give all the finalists the well-deserved moment to bask in their glory and be recognised for their achievements, it also allows for everyone else to be inspired by those who have triumphed, and proud of their friends, colleagues or family’s achievement!
At Purple Frog we had the privilege of doing this twice, for CompTIA, The Inspirational Women in STEM and Construction Campaign, AND the Shropshire Chamber business awards!
The crowds were completely engaged at every event as each deserving winner was announced and greeted with applause and admiration as they went on stage to have their moment (and photo snapped!). The brief acceptance speeches were a highlight of all evenings, with each winner expressing their gratitude and pride at being recognised for their hard work, it was a wonderful thing to experience, three times!🐸
The Purple Frog team took a small leap across to Birmingham to get all dressed up in black tie attire and attend the CompTIA UK Spotlight awards for Hollie’s nomination in the Women in Tech category. Everyone at Purple Frog continues to be proud of her achievements and what she accomplishes, this time the award went to another worthy finalist!
Hollie managed to walk away as a WINNER! Purple Frog Systems CEO, Hollie Whittles, collected an award for Inspirational Businesswomen in STEM and Construction at the Palace of Westminster as she is an extremely inspirational female business owner and acts as a role model to future generations. Well and truly deserved!🏆
“I am looking forward to mentoring the next generation into an exciting career in our world of big data and artificial intelligence. It’s a really exciting place to be!” said Hollie.
Not too long ago, we celebrated at the Shropshire chamber business awards to celebrate alongside Telford College for their Trailblazer finalist award as well as our joint entry for Annabel Hemingbrough’s Young Business Person finalist place! After indulging in lovely food and funny entertainment they got the show on the road and showcased each and every candidate sharing their journey and accomplishments. It was totally impressive to see a room full of outstanding people. Congratulations to the Young Business Person of the Year!
