It is all too common these days for data collection to be a very high priority but without proper consideration given to what benefit can be gained from it. Purple Frog Systems was founded in 2006 to help to companies wanting to improve the way they manage their data.
Business Intelligence consultancy
We are based in the Midlands, but cover the whole of the UK and worldwide. We are a Microsoft partner, and specialise in the Microsoft BI toolset, although we also have skills in other technologies. We specialise in all aspects of data architecture, data transformation, data warehousing, OLAP cubes and reporting systems, implemented using the SQL Server suite of solutions (Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)) as well as cloud platforms including Microsoft’s Azure.
Purple Frog’s founder, Alex Whittles, was honoured with the prestigious ‘MVP’ award in October 2015. This award is given to “exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others”. Alex is one of only a very small handful of SQL Server MVPs in the UK. In July 2017 we were delighted that another one of our consultants was also recognised with an MVP award. Our consultants have an impressive array of qualifications and certifications to back up their professional experience. One of our consultants was one of the first in the UK to gain an MSc Masters degree in Business Intelligence. We believe that qualifications and certifications don’t necessarily mean that a consultant can do the job you want, however when combined with the professional and practical experience gained through years working in the industry, they provide you with confidence that the consultant can tackle any problem you throw at them. It is a quality standard and mark of excellence that shows purchasers of IT that they can trust any supplier who holds the standard to deliver first-class solutions. For ICT Purchasers, the choice is simple. Organisations can either take a plunge into the unknown with all of its associated risks, or choose a company whose excellence has been assessed. Accredit UK certified businesses have shown that they have well-trained and managed people, a track record of first-class performance and excellent internal processes.
